Neverland Preschool: About us

Neverland is an international art preschool, devoted to providing children with a creative multi-cultural educational experience. We offer a program in English as well as an optional afternoon language class where either Czech, French or English is taught. Neverland offers three programs based on British and international curriculum:

The teachers at Neverland have excellent professional qualifications and are specialized in specific art fields such as: visual arts, environmental arts, drama-movement, music, cooking and physical education. Our multi-talented staff are native or bicultural speakers trained to nurture native and non-native children's needs in English. By using language and art as the common ground, a bridge is created where each child can share and experience the diverse cultures represented to those who live and work in the Czech Republic. At Neverland, we strive to create an environment which fosters the individual.

We appreciate and respect the uniqueness of every child. We believe in identifying and encouraging each child's strengths and interests.

Our Location

Neverland Preschool is located on the premises of the International Baptist Theological Seminary in Nebusice.

By car

From Evropska (driving in the direction of the airport), turn right on Horomericka. Just before the left turn to go to Nebusice, ISP and Malá Sarka, on the left side, you will see a restaurant called "Restaurant Mlyn". Turn left here onto U vizerky. To get to the preschool, you will be buzzed through the security gate. Park in the lot located immediately on your left after you come through the security gates and proceed up the stairs to the school (you can't miss it!). If you plan to stay longer than 10-15 minutes, you should put a Neverland placard in your front window. Placards are available in the school office. The school is up the stairs and directly in front of you.

By bus

From Dejvicka metro, take bus 161 up Evropska. It will turn right on Horomericka. At the bottom of the hill, just past the Restaurant Mlyn, get off at the stop "Jeneralka" and walk about 25m back to enter the campus.

By tram

From Dejvicka metro, take tram 20 or 26 to the "Horomericka" stop. Then follow the directions for arrival by bus as above.

Our Facilities

Here are some pictures of the exterior and interior of the school. We have three large, bright and sunny classrooms - each is divided into an area with tables and chairs, and a circle time/play area. We also have a wonderful Magical Kingdom - our library/drama/music room. In addition, we have a fully equipped kitchen, where the children cook every week!
